Fabric Story
Fabric Story
By combining two existing materials, the Black Ruffle Top embodies our commitment to thoughtful design and intentional production - giving new life to beautiful fabrics in one reversible piece.
Fabric 1:
100% Cotton Satin
Colour / Black
A deadstock cotton satin with a subtle shine, chosen for its elegant drape and soft, smooth finish. We were only able to source the final 3.5 metres of this fabric, making every piece created from it inherently limited.
Fabric 2:
Upcycled 100% Lyocell Twill
Colour / Black with decorative white chain stitching
Crafted from upcycled trousers from our very first KRISTINE ELINE collection. A portion of the pants were faulty made in the final production. Rather than letting these pieces go to waste, they have been carefully deconstructed and transformed into new pieces, preserving the distinctive white chain stitching that has become a defining feature of the fabric.
